I mentioned earlier last year that I wanted to take a class on learning to make braided rag rugs. I never took the class because I had waaaay too much to do at the time. Well, I came across a tutorial written by Vanessa of V & Co. on the Moda Bake Shop blog and it looks so easy to make - includes some great photos, too!

Does look easy but I think if I were to try it, I'd start off with something less ambitious than a rug....maybe a placemat? or how bout a coaster? lol
