I would love to make your quilt found in the McCallls quilting called "Brush Strokes". Just can't decide on fabric choice. Suggestions anyone?
ONe of the posts had a red striped chair you were going to recover. That made me think about looking for a chair at a garage sale instead of purchasing one. I did find a lovely wooden chair and it's going to get a new quilted seat cover. The best part? It was $2! thanks!
I'm with Duff; upholstery is scary to me but if I start with a yard sale find I won't agonize nearly as much as if I was recovering a pricey piece! Also, "Box of Chocolates" is going to have to land in my house one way or another - repeated exposure works!
I'm a first time visitor, but I would love to win that prize. I just submitted my registration from the old posts, and saw that chair! I have a rocker glider I'd like to reupholster, but am terrified to do it.
I love the Sugar Roses project. Upholstery is really scary, but now so much now. Thank you for the education.
I just discovered your blog and will have to spend some time reviewing your prior posts! Lovely stuff.
I am inspired by the Brush Strokes project. Can't wait to have a go!
thank you for the very generous giveaway... most enjoy the creative inspiration I get
Sugar Roses screamed guild raffle the minute I saw it. Now to gat all the pieces and then to pick the perfect guild.
I have a wing chair that desperately needs recovering and I am so (now) inspired to do this! I really want to make it "mine". The give-away prizes are just beautiful for whoeveer is lucky enough to win!
I have enjoyed all the info on your blog. Very informative & inspiring. I think this is a blog I will continue to follow regularly. Thanks!
I so need to learn how to cover my wing chair. Your fabric choices are just out of this world! Ty for such a sweet giveaway!!!!
Well, I did answer the questions on FB......
And find the prospect of recoving the chair inspiring. Love the little table. It is a treasure!
The prizes look awesome. I enjoy the notion of using materials that I have not chosen. I think it ramps up the creativity!
I like your fabric choices. I´m new in here, but like what I se. Thanks.

Everything looks so fresh and new, I know I Have two old chairs that my klitties ruined that would look amazing! thank you
I have always wanted to tackle a small upholstery job. My someday file is full of patterns, articles and magazine photos. did you know you can make a footstool from an old milk crate?
I just found you but have been inspired lately by some fantastic images online and some great fabric I was able to get on sale. Isn't that always inspiring? :)
I'd love to try some reupholstry as well! Great giveaway!

I just found your blog and love it! So many great ideas. I'm working on a quilt project now and I think I may need to add some appliqué to the border. That adds so much to the quilt. Thank you for your inspiration!
I was impressed with your tag sale finds. The few I've been to have never had anything special, but your chair has encouraged me to get out there and take another look. Who knows what I'll find to work creative magic on. Thanks!
I showed up late, but I was inspired by the picture of the quilt with the star. I love stars and have a table runner I am trying to finish, maybe that was just the poke I needed to get it done.
I'm like some of the others when it comes to redoing furniture either with upholstery or re painting. I just don't seem to have the confidence to do it myself. U have enjoyed seeing all of the makeovers you have done.
I love refinishing furniture, but re-upholstering has always scared me....your post helped alleviate some of that fear.
I have been very intrigued by the Aurifil thread. I have not tried it yet, hoping I win the package then I can try it out! Thanks for all your help! lisamcgriff at hotmail dot com
Fabulous prizes! I also posted on FB. Just love the bed and the Sugar Roses quilt!
I love that you did the sugar roses pattern in a neutral color way. I also have on old chair that needs an update and have been afraid to do it but now I have a little bit more confidence to tackle it.
I think it would be so cool to recover a chair!
I'd love to make your Box of Chocolates quilt pattern in solids - not tried a whole-solid project yet. Also, I have an old chair frame I've never got round to re-upholstering so will give that a go too.
I'd love to be able to learn how to recover furniture. Your furniture finds were fabulous.
Aurifil thread--it is SO good!
I loved your upholstery project, you inspired me to try my hand at it :)
I love Me and My Sister's fabric lines for Moda, so will be using Dilly Dally in one of my next quilts!!
I am new to your blog and FB page. I posted on there as well. I am currently working on some minky quilts for my kids and am planning on moving on the a rags quilt after those are finished. So just looking at the different patterns you have displayed on your blog for inspiration! Love some of the colors and the patterns!
I just found you today...thanks for the opportunity to win and get started on finding my creativity. I'll go look at your Facebook information too.
I love the idea of reupholstering, but I still find the idea daunting! I have a rocker that I think could do with new upholstery, but I'm procrastinating out of fear!
enjoyed all the blogs. many ideas. thanks for the chance to win
Would just love to try the Aurafil thread.

The Sugar Roses quilt! I LOVE that fabric! Everything about that quilt is BEAUTIFUL!!!
I love the colors in the Fairy Tale Friends by American Jane line!
I love your pattern Brush Strokes...am looking for fabrics for it.
I'm definitely inspired by Brush Strokes and am freeing up time and considering fabric options.....
I have often thought about reupholstering. After seeing the chair post I think I'll give it a try.
I love love love the Lilac Hill fabric that was a layer cake give-away earlier. And I love Moda fabric so it's on my must do list!
I have just enjoyed it all...inspiring is all the photos of different things that get me thinking!
for me, i liked reading abut how you made two different versions of the quilt, and added the border applique embellishment to it- it is nice to see a quilt in a totally different way!
My grandmother made slipcovers and I was always amazed at how she made them look perfect. I have covered a couple of stools and thats about it. I have a sofa that is in need of some updating. I always like to read tips on the basics.
I would love to re-cover my worn out wing back chair -- I've had too many terriers sitting on it to look good any more! Your giveaway is so fantastic -- love everything in it!
I would love to try new fabrics. Your blog is great.
Aurifil thread is my very favorite thread for machine piecing! Lots of inspiration on your blog. Thanks for hosting this giveaway,
I've enjoyed the quilt ideas and looking forward to your next postings. Love you site.
I love the cathedral window pincushion tutorial. I forgot how much information is out there, and I am committed to spending more time checking out some of the blogs and sites that I have discovered over the last month. Thank you so much for your time, effort and generosity in running your Suz-a-Palooza. I loved it!
I would love to try Aurifil thread. I've heard lots of good things about it. I also like the cathredal window pincushion. It looks like a fun little project.
I absolutely love Sugar Roses II. I'm pretty sure I fell in love with it when I saw it in my McCalls issue even before I found you here. It is gorgeous! I enjoyed seeing what new things people were interested in and I enjoyed seeing what they are working on. Thanks again for a fun contest experience.
I have a bedroom chair that is screaming to be reupholstered and I love the fabric -- you are so kind and generous -- thank you!}
I loved your creations, patterns and the posts on Aurifil! :)
Well this has been a lot of fun. I love looking at fabric even though I can't pet it. LOL. I'm kind of a thread nut so that interest me too. Some day I'm going to count how many spools of thread I have. New projects to put on my "bucket list" Thanks.
I loved seeing the Sugar Roses quilt and that awesome table!
I love Sugar Roses. It would be just perfect for my Ellie Grace.
I have only just found your blog but I LOVE what I have seen and will be a follower from now on.
Patti xxx
I love the 2nd Sugar roses quilt. That is definitely an inspiration! I prefer the pretty greens and pinks from the first Sugar Roses quilt, but those vines and leaves are just lovely.
(I hope I am not too late for this one, since it is sunday morning)
You have an amazing blog! More power to you!
I love the treasures you found, the chair and table are awesome. When reading about updating the chair, I remembered I have a chair in my basement, I stripped the fabric and padding about 4 years ago...and is has been sitting 'naked' since. You have inspired me to bring it forward and attempt to reupholster. It is a simple chair...I can do it, yes I can. I've not seen your patterns in any quilt shops in the past but will be looking for them from now on. Recently, I have seen your quilt patterns in McCall's magazines. I'm going to check my back issues and see what I have missed. Peppermint Candy and Candy Bar Road have also inspired me. Peppermint Candy would make an awesome Christmas quilt and Candy Bar Road looks like a great quilt pattern for donation quilts. Thanks for all the inspiration and the chance to win your super duper give-away. Hope you are enjoying this Labor Day holiday!!
